I am kind of obsessed with finding new and better ways to improve my health. It’s a good thing overall I think but I do spend a crazy amount of time geeking out on all kinds of topics related to health.
But in order to create real, positive change for yourself – you have to test things out to see what works for you.
So I am constantly testing something related to diet, exercise, sleep or happiness to learn how it affects me but essentially – does it make me healthier or not?

December 2013: Hacking Hashi’s
In December 2013 Jodie was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease, an auto-immune disorder that causes the immune system to attack the thyroid gland, damaging the thyroid and throwing thyroid hormones out of balance which can lead to some very serious conditions down the road.
Jodie has to take thyroid replacement hormones right now in order to bring her body back into balance but she has decided she wants to do everything possible to repair her body naturally.
Fortunately, I have been following Chris Kresser for quite a while and Chris offers a ton of helpful articles on his website on what can be done naturally to fight Hashimoto’s naturally.
